A Canceled Race
My race this weekend was canceled due to the weather, really mother nature? really? A snow storm in NY in OCTOBER? a storm bad enough to shut down parks and forces many races to cancel ?
Unfair.
Silly.
Mean.
My dreams of running a 2nd 10k in 2 weeks were crushed.
Side walks were full of wet, snowy leaves, branches and powerlines - too dangerous to even attempt a run.
The good news?
I’ve got another race this weekend. 10k, although I could do the Half, even though i’m not actually prepared. Then do another Half on Thanksgiving and a 3rd Christmas or New Years day and qualify to be a Half Fanatic….
Lets see how the week goes.
